Directed design of 10 unique collections to create the “halo” effect to the iconic Blair brand for updated brand positioning and identity. Front cover presentation to deliver each month, offering a fresh perspective of mix and match pieces. Goal to be the launching pad to create larger key items and continue testing ideas through the collection forum. Led everything from contract negotiations, to color approvals and everything in between. Recruited and led team of designers, technical designer, textile designer, sweater designer.

Created and presented white space opportunity of Newborn Apparel to the EVP of Design of a major brand. Designed as a completely sustainable and inclusive collection (with the exception of dresses).

Led the evolution of the Croft & Barrow Brand to deliver on a more cohesive vision and relevant identity. Assessed the current brand architecture including aesthetic, fabric, color, trim details and silhouette design. Identified white space opportunities in brand aesthetic and offering to presented to Sr. Leadership. Guided team of eight designers with goal to deliver on a more diversified offering and updated feminine, optimistic, yet classic aesthetic. Created design strategy with the goal to attract a younger customer and return this $250M brand to growth mode.

Elected as the design lead in a total company initiative with the goal of creating more responsibly sourced and produced products in the market place.   Worked with Studio E on creating strategy, tactics, and innovation.   Served as a critical conduit of information internally with design, merchant, sourcing, and engineering teams.   

Passionately lead the Spritz Brand for Target of party supplies and Giftwrap, over $450M in annual sales for 6 years.   Set vision for overall brand by season and by category including concept to execution.   Led a team of five to re-define three unique businesses to include bags and wrap, kids party, and entertaining supplies.    Create consistent brand positioning to empower the guest to “create joyful memories” with inspiration and innovation in product design and offering.   Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, sourcing, packaging, marketing to ensure product offering comes to life with excitement and differentiation. 

Served as Design Lead and Visionary for Back-to-School  for 5 years.   Collaborated with merchants and National brand partners to create a Target unique point-of-view while delivering to the necessary commodity nature of the business.   Led cross-functional team for Up and Up, internal design Target branded product through execution.   Partnered with National brands such as 3M, Fiskars, Swingline, Mead, to leverage their branding while creating a Target only product through collaborative design.  Back-to-School achieves over 500M in sales annually.

Launched a white space opportunity for Desk Organization in the Threshold Brand for Home Office exceeding plan by over 40%.   The concept was conceived after holding an off-site “boot camp” with enthusiastic guests who identified that we were lacking fashion in our office offering.   Collection launched with iconic items such as wood computer riser and organization and the gold dog tape dispenser.   Threshold continues to be a powerful multi-billion dollar brand to Target. 

Introduced the modern crafting trend and business opportunity to the Target guest through the collaboration with Todd Oldham and the Hand Made Modern Brand.   This quirky collection is inclusive of crafting basics, embellishments, and best-in-class paints.  

Led Merona RTW for Target for 5 years including Merona Collection.   Total annual sales exceeding $800M.   Led the team of 9 talented designers to include all categories except outerwear.    Merona is a life-style modern classic brand with a fresh interpretation.   Created 6 concepts per year, presented to Senior Leadership.   Managed the team through collaborative process of execution to ensure concepts come to life and that product print and pattern, fit, fabric, color, and details uphold the Merona Brand.

Co-led women’s RTW collaboration:  Missoni for Target.  Set concept, color palette, story-telling with authority from the Missoni family.   Missoni Collection was inclusive of designer sweaters, wovens, knits, swimwear, and outerwear.   Flawless execution from the team made for a buzz-worthy collection launch.  

Co-led women’s RTW collaboration: Liberty of London.  Co-created concepts to be presented and approved both internally and to design partners.  Worked closely with textile team to interpret the signature print and pattern in a fresh manner through unique play of scale and application to silhouettes.    Managed team through the design process of creating and executing this iconic brand.

Co-led women’s’ RTW collaboration of Calypso for Target with loose direction from Calypso.    Partnered closely with internal Textile team for the creation of original tie-dyes, shibori, and dip dyes.   Led the design of RTW product while collaborating internally with big girls team for specialty item take-downs.  

Designed entire collection of Target exclusive Cherokee girl sportswear brand including:  dresses, sweaters, pants, woven tops, and knits.  Created concepts presented to VP of Design.    Managed and directed textile designer to create unique print and pattern, while creating timeless silhouettes.

Launched playwear brand of Circo celebrating active kids who love bright colors and graphics.     Managed all aspects of design from concept to execution through strong cross-functional relationships and passion for the brand.    Designed original apparel for this 80M dollar brand for ages 12M to 16 years.
